Working together at one of the UK’s largest housing associations and frustrated with several failed attempts to get budget approval for enterprise systems, Greg Rich and Russ Wiltshire decide to use their experience and success building several of their own internal systems to fulfill a need in the service industry.
Vivantio V1 Released
After a year developing the first true multi-tenant helpdesk hosted application, Vivantio welcomes DHL International aboard as our first customer. We’re happy to say Vivantio is still their ITSM software solution of choice!

Over 2000 users log in daily. Work begins on developing all core ITIL principles and a CRM.

Greg Rich is CEO and co-founder of Vivantio. Greg’s passion for customer service started at a very early age whilst working alongside his parents who owned a small, family residential home in Somerset, England. He spent several years volunteering for the Avon & Somerset police constabulary before finding his passion in customer service and support for KPMG. Over the course of 10 years, Greg’s curiosity and creativity drove innovative and forward-thinking technology solutions to complex business problems within Social Housing. In 2003, Greg cofounded Vivantio and released the world’s first SaaS Helpdesk Solution in order to allow SME companies to provide better service to their customers.
Andy is the Chief Operating Officer at Vivantio where he has spent the last 16 years working with the co-founders growing the company to a multi million dollar, award winning business based in the UK and US with customers from around the globe. Andy has a degree in Business Economics and a Masters in IT. He has worked for global companies such as Reuters, within their data analytics division and Havas EHS in their data led direct marketing business.
Scott Yelle is the Founder and President of New England Sales Solutions. Scott brings 20 plus years of sales leadership experience to help small to mid-size companies. He helps companies grow revenue and profits by conducting a customized assessment of their business and helps to develop a strategy and execution plan to achieve the desired results. His company uses the proven Sales Xceleration platform to deliver those results.
Ed is a metric-driven CMO who enables growth that is powered by data (Voice of Customer-focused), scaled by automation and optimized with analytics. By adapting a blend of Fortune 500 and lean startup processes, Ed uses client-proven strategies to accelerate growth, foster collaboration, spark innovation, enhance customer experience and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Alexis Mackie is Head of Customer Success at Vivantio, where the primary focus of the team is to ensure customers are maximizing the value and return on investment in their relationship with the company. The ultimate measure of success for the team is customers renewing year on year and expanding their use of Vivantio through their business. Alexis takes real pride in seeing customers becoming true advocates for Vivantio and making them the hero of their own story throughout their customer journey.
Graham’s experience spans many aspects of the software development industry, including 12 years at the coalface as a .NET / SQL Server software engineer, a variety of senior softwareengineering leadership roles, a thought leader in the DevOps practices space through his awardwinning blog and as a consultant helping software development teams in the UK and internationally improve software quality, and speed and reliability of deployment. Graham’s role at Vivantio allows him to enjoy doing what he loves best: leading a team of software engineers to build a first-class product whist still being hands-on with many of the technical aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Jules Stevens is Head of Customer Service of Vivantio, with the remit to lead the Professional services team and the Support team. She has extensive experience across Customer Services and Business Management in operational sales and service industries. Jules first full time role was for a London based luxury retailer where she joined the management training programme. This role triggered Jules to evaluate customer service standards and set her own high expectations in all customer interactions. She has continued to develop this passion and carry it across each industry she has worked in.
A strategic, values driven, relationship focussed HR manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Global experience in delivering excellent customer service at a senior and executive level. Skilled in Talent Management, HR Consulting, Coaching, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Leadership and Organizational Development. Trusted advisor and respected human resources professional who can understand complex issues and formulate solutions. French MA (Hons) focused in French, Spanish from Edinburgh University. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Workday.
