Vivantio is Conceived
Working together at one of the UK’s largest housing associations and frustrated with several failed attempts to get budget approval for enterprise systems, Greg Rich and Russ Wiltshire decide to use their experience and success building several of their own internal systems to fulfill a need in the service industry.
Vivantio V1 Released
After a year developing the first true multi-tenant helpdesk hosted application, Vivantio welcomes DHL International aboard as our first customer. We’re happy to say Vivantio is still their ITSM software solution of choice!
2000 Users Log in Daily
Over 2000 users log in daily. Work begins on developing all core ITIL principles and a CRM.
Focus on Service
With a focus on continual product improvement, Vivantio moves to a 100% direct model to better service our prospects and customers.
U.S. Office Opens
Vivantio crosses the pond and opens the first U.S. office in Boston, expanding the company’s abilities to provide support to our global customers.

Co-Founder Russ Wiltshire takes early retirement to focus on humanitarian causes.
Vivantio V5 Released
Vivantio launches V5 with a new interface, built API-first. Business units roll out to support cross-department use.
West Coast Expansion
The second U.S. office opens in California and is in full swing. Vivantio collects several industry awards, and the platform logs over 40 million tickets.

Vivantio gets a makeover and corporate rebrand. V6 (codename FLEX) launches with a modern, user-friendly interface and stacks of new features.
